Apatosaurus probably ate the leaves of tall plants. It may have used rocks in its stomach to grind up the leaves. The end of its tail may have been used like a whip. Apatosaurus grew to 21 metres in length – longer than a bus! It may have eaten all day long to satisfy its huge appetite.
