Rockets

Black and white photo of a monkey perched on a rocket

It’s not rocket science… or is it?

Rockets were first used for military and recreational purposes in 13th century China. In the 20th century, rockets launched Yuri Gagarin into space and Armstrong and Aldrin to the Moon.

Visit Questacon to partake in the pursuit of rocket-launching by designing, constructing, and launching your own air-propelled paper rocket. It’ll be out of this world!
