Dropping down Excite@Q's 6 metre slide, Free Fall, is not for the feint hearted. Once climbing the stairs to the top of the slide, you'll see just how high up you really are! Will you hang from the bar and slide down the slide?
Come into Questacon and get a small taste of gravity, experience zero gravity (weightlessness) and feel your fear response.

Playing a game of Batak in Excite@Q requires mental and physical skill and stamina! Tap light sensor buttons, as soon as you see them glow. Test both your reaction time and peripheral vision over a sequence of 'easy' to 'hard' games.

Compose an original musical masterpiece without any original musical instruments!
OptiMusic uses beams of light, sensors and a computer software program to generate sounds. Using your hands and feet, you can block light beams. When a light beam is blocked you stop it being reflected back to a sensor, which sends a message to a computer programmed to play musical notes and strange sounds!

Excite@Q's Cross Hockey is more complex than regular air hockey and involves a spinning central obstacle, sharp angles and a puck.
