Terrorsaurus

Everyone has their own thoughts and beliefs about dinosaurs.

Before you come to Questacon's Terrorsaurus exhibition, draw a mind map of your ideas about dinosaurs.

Write DINOSAURS in the middle of a page with arrows away from it. These arrows represent your knowledge and understanding of dinosaurs. Write down everything that comes into your mind.

When you have finished your mind map:

• share it with a friend,
• devise some questions you have about dinosaurs and set yourself a research task. The task could be a whole group activity or something you do with friends.

Notes for teachers

After you have visited the Terrorsaurus exhibition make another mind map.

Compare your new knowledge and understanding of dinosaurs with your original mind map.
