Put on the wet socks
Walk around the path, then run, skip or hop (keeping the socks wet). Take the blindfold off your friend. Ask your friend how you made each track. Did your friend get it right? This time swap roles. How did you decide what was happening? Discuss what sort of prints you would observe if: a) you were sneaking up on someone b) you were carrying a heavy weight How would they be different to the normal walking prints? Notes for teachersThis activity could be done in a sandpit instead of using wet socks and a path. |
