The major undertaking for the Questacon ScienceLines: Indigenous Outreach team in 2006 and 2007 was the Together Online project which involved working with teachers, students and community members to develop websites that showcase Indigenous Knowledge, science, technology and maths within the community.

ScienceLines worked with communities in Aurukun in the Cape York region of Queensland, Badu Island in the Torres Strait, Bowraville in north eastern New South Wales and Burringurrah in central Western Australia, to develop and foster skills - mainly in Information and Communication Technology.

The communities control the design, content and maintenance of their website. Students, teachers and community members enhance their skills in using digital cameras, making videos and using web design software. The students and teachers in each community also participated in a range of science and technology workshops facilitated by Questacon staff.

The Bowraville community have their website live on the Internet. Visit the Bowraville community website You are now leaving the Questacon websiteand find out about the town, its people and history.
