Schools and Teachers
The Shell Questacon Science Circus is a major outreach program from Questacon – The National Science and Technology Centre in Canberra. A Science Circus experience is designed to stimulate and challenge an exploration of science and technology among its audience and is an ideal basis for follow-on activities.
School Science Shows
The Shell Questacon Science Circus presenters visit local schools to present lively and energetic science shows using everyday materials and props. Adapted to the age of the students, the shows cover a wide range of topics from bubbles and balance to collisions and chemistry and lots more.
Program Structure: Groups of up to 150 students experience a 60 minute science show, up to four shows are performed daily.
Venue: At your school (classroom, gym, hall etc).
