A proven ability to inspire a sense of purpose and direction to achieve results is essential. This position will require substantial travel within Australia to supervise staff and project.

The conference is for secondary students from years 8-12 and is designed to empower participants to enable them to commercialise their science, engineering or technology ideas.

Details of Employment: This position is a full time non-ongoing position until 4th December 2009, Monday to Friday 27.5 hrs/week, in accordance with the Questacon Certified Agreement.

Duties: The primary focus of this position will be to deliver science and technology based performances and workshops in schools, preschools and other venues to a range of audiences. The successfully applicant will have tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience in one or more of: primary teaching, secondary teaching, science or science communication.
Employment Details: This position is full time non-ongoing for a specified term of 6 months. Any extension of this period will be in accordance with regulation 3.6.

Duties: The primary focus of this position is to deliver an innovative and high quality Front of House and gallery service to the public and groups. The successful candidates will have demonstrated experience in, and a strong commitment to, the delivery of exceptional customer service along with demonstrated ability in the leadership, supervision, development and motivation of a large team to ensure a good working environment.
Employment Details: This is an ongoing full time position, working Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week, with flexible working hours in accordance with Questacon's Collective Agreement. Part time arrangement may be considered.
