National Invention Convention 2017

The National Questacon Invention Convention is an all expenses paid, five day workshop in Canberra, held every January. It's immersive, but also fun - play, make design and laugh your way through a week of inspiration and creativity.

The National Invention Convention 2017 has just wrapped up and has been an incredible week! Twenty six delegates from around Australia travelled to the Ian Potter Foundation Technology and Learning Centre, Canberra to design, create and prototype ideas to solve challenges around food, water and shelter in a growing world. They connected with over 40 local innovators, makers and entrepreneurs, developed skills in pitching ideas and forged friendships to last a lifetime. A huge congratulations to this year’s delegates, it was incredible to work with you and remember, this is just the start!

Missed this one? Our next National Invention Convention is open to 14-18 year olds and will be held in January 2018.

Please note that if you've already participated in a National Invention Convention then unfortunately you are not eligible to apply. If you've done a Regional Questacon Invention Convention register your interest now!
