Questacon Invention Convention

Questacon Invention Conventions are multi-day workshops for 14-18 year olds where you can work with mentors and innovators to turn your ideas into reality.

Regional Invention Conventions

Booked Out

Our regional Invention Conventions are free, three-day workshops that let you explore design, technology and innovation with other young innovators. Use a range of tools and materials, from robotics and electronics to hot glue and pop sticks, to design and prototype your ideas to solve real-world problems.

The program is open to 14-18 year olds in regional Australia attending an Australian secondary school and may be run as virtual workshops.

Hobart – 13-15 April

Registrations for our Hobart Invention Convention have now closed. We're looking forward to welcoming 20 young Hobart locals to the Sustainability Learning Centre, Mt Nelson, for this event during the April school holidays!
