River Crossing

Two yellow monitors back to back sit on a black and blue exhibit table.

A seemingly impossible puzzle can be solved through trial and error, representing optimisation theory.

How it works

Use the touch screen and certain puzzle rules to move four robbers across a bridge to the opposite river bank within a '15 minute' time limit.

This puzzle uses 'optimisation theory'; a branch of maths that helps you find better answers than the answer you first considered.
