Our biggest award is seeing the smiles on our visitors’ faces and their engagement with our various exhibitions, programs and shows.

Interpretation Australia is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting and advancing the profession of natural and cultural heritage interpretation across Australia. Mission to Mars won this award for its COVID-safe, hands-free immersive experience in 2020.

The ACT Chief Minister’s Inclusion Awards acknowledge the achievements of businesses, organisations and individuals who have shown a commitment to welcome, encourage and support people with disability.

The annual Canberra Region Tourism Awards aim to showcase the best of the region’s tourist industry organisations and promote, encourage and reward tourism excellence. We are proud to have won many Canberra Region Tourism Awards, and to have done so in several categories.

The Australian Tourism Awards are the tourism industry’s peak awards. They recognise and promote excellence in tourism. We have received this special honour 3 times – in 2017, 2016 and 2009.
Questacon acknowledges First Nations peoples as the Traditional Custodians and first scientists, makers and innovators of this land and their continuing connection to Country. We pay our respects to the Elders past, present and emerging.
