About
Looking to build your STEM education connections, or just wondering how to get started in teaching STEM? Questacon Regional Leaders can connect you to touring programs in your area, education communities of practice, or Questacon Starting in STEM workshops.
Q.Ed community is a hub for state-based communities of practice led by teachers and facilitated by Questacon. With regular, in-person and virtual meets, a Teams channel to chat, professional learning resources, grab'n'go activities and more, Q.Ed community gives you the access, networking and resources to elevate your STEM classroom, wherever you are.
Questacon Educator Programs also run Starting in STEM workshops in each state and territory, facilitated by Questacon Regional Leaders. Starting in STEM is a dynamic, 90 minute, in-person professional development series, designed specifically for educators beginning their STEM education journey. This interactive experience will equip educators with the confidence and practical tools to foster a learning culture rich in STEM dispositions. Through the lens of a design-thinking process, you’ll explore how to plan and create contextualised, problem-based inquiries that spark empathy, critical thinking and the intrinsic motivation to make a real difference in the community.
