Things to know
Questacon Science Circus is a unique production that brings alive science, theatre and learning all in one show. There are a few things to be aware of before the Questacon Science Circus arrives at your school.
Exclusive venue access where possible
If the in-school venue is used for other activities before and after school, where possible, we would appreciate that the activity be moved to an alternate venue for the day of our visit.
If this is not possible, please advise the supervising teachers that we will be in the space and require an exclusive cordoned off area for set up, show reset, and pack down.
Early morning access
Our team will arrive approximately one hour before the first show. If this is before the school office opens, please remind and review the early morning access arrangements with the “on the day’ contact.
Contact teacher back-up
Please advise your office staff that we will be visiting your school and have a back-up teacher who is aware of the planned schedule/class order for the day.
In the venue
Our presenters will require two, trestle size tables, an electrical power point and access to water (not necessarily in the show space)
If you prefer your students to be sitting on chairs, please have them set up prior to the day/event.
