Creators Wanted!

Samsung and Questacon have joined forces to launch Creators Wanted – a campaign designed to show students how skills in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) are becoming increasingly relevant across all industries and future career paths. The Creators Wanted campaign has been launched through the release of captivating video content celebrating STEM in diverse fields, namely fashion, food and sport.

To address the STEM engagement issues in Australia, Samsung and Questacon partnered with well-known Australian personalities: Jane Lu (Founder of Showpo); Reynold Poernomo (2015 MasterChef contestant); and Charlotte Caslick (Olympic gold medallist & Australian Rugby Sevens player) to show students that STEM goes beyond science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Whether it be the problem-solving skills necessary to build a business, the chemistry involved in developing a recipe, or the science behind a sports training program, the Creators Wanted videos aim to show students that STEM is everywhere.

The campaign has been created to inspire Australian students who are currently selecting subjects for their senior years at high-school, as well as those considering tertiary education options, to consider STEM subjects.
