Are you an educator in Western Australia’s Mid‑West looking to strengthen your local STEM community? With the support of passionate local educators, Questacon has established the WA Mid-West Network, bringing educators together through regular in‑person meetings across the region.

At each gathering, you’ll hear from local educators about the STEM practices making a real impact in their classrooms. You’ll also connect with your local Questacon Regional Leader, take part in a hands‑on STEM activity, and explore practical ways to enrich and extend your STEM teaching.

Questacon Regional Leaders are based in every state and territory to help you build confidence, capability and community in STEM education, no matter where you teach.

  • Meet other educators to share and learn from each other.
  • Gain insights on the best resources and programs in STEM.
  • Get practical classroom activity ideas that you can implement immediately.

Join Q.Ed Community, the online community to connect educators across the state.

Things to know

  • Suitable for high school and primary teachers in the region as well as those with an interest in STEM education.
  • Sessions are FREE to attend, but registration is required to secure your spot.
