Things to know
- Engineering is Elementary units are designed for primary educators; however, they can be adapted for secondary school or other settings.
- Starting in STEM builds confidence and capacity to teach engaging, meaningful STEM in the classroom. It’s ideal for out-of-field teachers and anyone seeking purposeful, community-connected STEM professional learning. It is especially valuable for pre-service and early-career educators.
- Workshops are FREE but applications are essential as places are limited.
- Morning tea and lunch will be provided.

Engineering is Elementary is developed by the Museum of Science, Boston, and adapted for Australian educators by Questacon. Starting in STEM is developed by Questacon Regional Leaders for Australian educators.
