Soar away on an aeronautical engineering adventure with Foldable Flight!
How can you experiment with different elements of your paper plane to change the way it flies? In this session, come and investigate the engineering and physics of flight by constructing your own paper planes. Learn how to design two different types of paper planes, darts and gliders, and how various design features such as wing size shape and angle, can affect stability and drag.
We’ll guide participants through experiments using simple materials, while collecting their hypotheses and ideas through interactive polls and Q&A functions.
Teachers will receive a resource guide that outlines the key concepts covered in the webinar, as well as some simple classroom activities which can be completed live during the webinar and extended at a later date to support existing lesson plans.
Suitable for years 3-6. 1 hour duration.
Our webinars have live-captioning available.
