Science Time: Sun & Moon

Science Time: Sun & Moon for our Early Learners (3–5-year-olds and their caregivers) will be running Monday – Saturday at 10 am, 11 am, 12 pm (Saturdays only) in the Blue Door Room. Everyone wanting to attend a session should book a Science Time ticket. This ticket includes entry to Questacon for the same day.

Spectacular Science Shows

Spectacular Science Shows will be running at 10:30 am, 11:30 am, 2:30 pm, 3:30pm in the Japan Theatre. Check with information on arrival for which shows the Exciting Particles are presenting during your visit!

Science in the Centres @ Westfield Belconnen

​We are bringing our favourite exhibits to your local shopping centre for FREE! Get ready for Questacon-style fun for the whole family - play with the power of magnets, make music with thongs, and solve some engineering puzzles.

Questacon x Inspiring the ACT: Future Career Panel

​Saturday 16 August, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm  

​Explore the sciences of the Australian Federal Police with demonstrations from the diverse Forensics team, with activities for all ages including facial identification, fingerprint matching, crime scene forensics, digital forensics, and much more!
