About

Looking for more ways to showcase STEM within your school community? Preparing for National Science Week could be the perfect time to access new resources, gain some inspiration, or action your ideas. Come join educators from classrooms across Queensland for a discussion on how to activate your school around STEM this August as we celebrate National Science Week.

In this online Community of Practice meeting, you’ll become familiar with National Science Week resources ready for your classroom, learn about upcoming STEM opportunities in Queensland, hear how other educators are celebrating National Science Week in their schools, and be invited to share your own stories of STEM success as we support one another in extending and enriching our STEM teaching.

Questacon Regional Leaders have established STEM Educator Communities of Practice in every state and territory across Australia to help build confidence and capacity in STEM education.

As part of the Community of Practice you:

  • Meet other educators to share and learn from one another

  • Gain insights about STEM opportunities

  • Get practical STEM activity ideas for your classroom

  • Join the Q.Ed Community, an online community to connect educators across Australia
