Are you a Wangaratta Region classroom teacher or STEM educator looking to expand your professional network and strengthen your capacity to deliver high-quality science and engineering inquiry units? Join us at Wangaratta Tech School to participate in a Questacon Engineering is Elementary professional learning session! 

In this FREE workshop, you will: 

  • Get hands-on with agricultural engineering and STEM activities from ‘The Best of Bugs: Designing Hand Pollinators’ unit of work. 

  • Develop effective strategies to teach STEM content, and skills to meet the learning needs of your students.    

  • Build confidence in teaching through the Engineering Design Process.     

  • Be invited to join the Shepparton Community of Practice for future professional development and networking opportunities. 

After the workshop, we’ll send you our FREE resource kit and unit of work so you can run Engineering is Elementary in your classroom. You’ll also be connected to a national community of practice for ongoing collaboration and support.  

Places are limited. 

Things to know

  • Engineering is Elementary units are designed for primary educators; however, they can be adapted for secondary school or other settings. 

  • Please arrive at 3:45pm for a 4pm start

  • Workshops are FREE but applications are essential as places are limited!     

  • Afternoon tea will be provided.
