Are you looking for other educators passionate about STEM education? Take part in the Hunter Region STEM Education Community of Practice to connect with other educators, discover local opportunities and support one another to extend and enrich your STEM teaching.

Come along and share ideas, discuss experiences, connect to your local Questacon Regional Leader, find out about STEM resources and programs, and gain inspiration for 2027.

At our Term 4 meet-up, we’ll explore local STEM connections across the NSW syllabuses, get hands-on with adaptable classroom activities, and explore ideas and opportunities for the new school year.

Community of Practice meetings are facilitated by Questacon Regional Leaders, hosted each term to help build connection, confidence and capacity in STEM education.

Questacon Regional Leaders are in every state and territory across Australia to help you build confidence and capacity in STEM education, wherever you are.

Things to know

  • Meetings are held each term
  • Suitable for primary, secondary, library and outreach educators, and others with an interest in STEM education across the Hunter Region
  • Sessions are FREE to attend, but registration is required to secure your spot
  • Invite a colleague along! Everyone is welcome regardless of STEM background.
