Are you a Victorian STEM educator with an interest in building your networks with other educators?  With the support of local teachers, Questacon has established a Victorian STEM network and is hosting regular meetings across the state.

At each meeting there is an opportunity to hear from local educators about their best STEM practice in the classroom, connect to your local Questacon Regional Leader, complete hands-on STEM activities and discuss how you can extend and enrich your STEM teaching. In this session we’ll focus on using Victorian Curriculum to integrate STEM subject areas across the curriculum and brainstorm big ideas for the new 2027 school year.

Questacon Regional Leaders are in every state and territory across Australia to help you build confidence and capacity in STEM education wherever you are.

What to expect

  • Meet other educators to share and learn from each other.
  • Gain insights on the best resources and programs in STEM.
  • Get practical classroom activity ideas that you can implement immediately.
  • Join Q.Ed Community, the online community to connect educators across the state.

Things to know

This session is a virtual workshop. The online link will be shared with you 1 week prior to the event, via your registration.

  • Suitable for home-schoolers, primary and junior secondary teachers in Victoria. The workshop is open to other educators across the states but will focus specifically on Victorian Curriculum.
  • Sessions are FREE to attend, but registration is required to secure your spot.
