Are you looking for other educators passionate about STEM education? Join the North Tasmania STEM Educator Community of Practice to connect with other educators, discover more local resources, engage in hands-on STEM activities and support one another to extend and enrich STEM teaching. 

At this meet-up, we’ll focus on Tasmanian science excellence, career opportunities and looking forward to 2027’s National Science Week theme: Celebrating Science: past, present and future. We’ll also take a look at current QVMAG exhibitions and opportunities to engage with the museum’s education programs.

Questacon Regional Leaders are based in every state and territory to help educators build confidence, capability and community in STEM education. 

Come along and:

  • Meet other educators to share practice and ideas
  • Gain insights about STEM opportunities and local resources
  • Build an understanding of science and career opportunities in Tasmania
  • Get practical STEM activity ideas for your classroom.
  • Join the Q.Ed Community, to stay connected between meetings

  • Suitable for educators from across the north and surrounding areas.
  • Sessions are FREE to attend, but registration is required to secure your spot.
  • Invite a colleague along! Everyone is welcome regardless of STEM background.
  • Meetings are held each term, and you can attend them all.
