Questacon has established STEM Educator Communities of Practice in each state and territory, supporting educators to connect with STEM resources – and with each other!  

In New South Wales, community of practice events are held each term, online and in-person, providing regular opportunities for educators to connect, learn and collaborate. 

Come and join in this interactive, online session where you’ll: 

  • Meet other NSW educators to share and learn from each other 

  • Get ideas for practical, engaging, and adaptable STEM activities 

  • Gain insights into high quality STEM resources, programs and opportunities 

  • Explore effective strategies to extend and enrich STEM learning.  

After the session you’ll be invited to join Q.Ed Community, an online community of practice connecting educators nationwide. 

Things to know

  • This event is suitable for everyone involved in education, including primary and secondary teachers, librarians, museum and gallery staff, community and outreach educators, school leaders and pre-service teachers 

  • Invite a colleague along! Everyone is welcome, from leaders in STEM to those just starting out 

  • Places are limited, so early registration is encouraged
