About

Are you looking for other educators passionate about STEM education? Join the North Queensland STEM Educator Community of Practice to connect with other educators, discover more local resources, engage in hands-on STEM activities and support one another to extend and enrich STEM teaching.

At this meet-up, we’ll focus on connecting to Country and First Nations cultures in the STEM classroom starting with textiles as an example. This special session will be held at The Queensland Museum of the Tropics with access to the People, Culture and Country exhibition which features wearable art created by students with the guidance of local First Nations artists.

Questacon Regional Leaders are based in every state and territory to help educators build confidence, capability and community in STEM education.

Come along and:

  • Meet other educators to share practice and ideas
