About

Suitable for years 3-6. 40 minutes duration.

Look to nature for inspiration while the Governor General and a Q presenter lead you through an exploration of how seeds travel away from their parent plants and examine the different plant structures that help them. You’ll get to practice designing, making, testing and observing while making your very own prototype seed carriers.

We’ll guide participants through experiments using simple materials, while collecting their hypotheses and ideas through interactive polls and Q&A functions.

Teachers will have access to a resource guide that outlines the key concepts covered in the webinar, as well as some simple classroom activities which can be completed live during the webinar and extended at a later date to support existing lesson plans.

Our webinars have live-captioning available.
