About

Step inside the Cosmic Echoes exhibition at the Geraldton Museum and discover how powerful local stories and real-world STEM contexts can spark student curiosity. In this hands-on workshop, you'll explore the exhibition and work alongside other educators to identify curriculum links, develop driving questions, and design inquiry or project-based learning experiences that can be adapted for your classroom.

Questacon's WA Mid-West Network brings educators together through regular regional gatherings that build confidence, capability and connection in STEM education. Whether you're teaching in primary or secondary school, you'll have the opportunity to share ideas, learn from local educators, and explore practical strategies that make STEM learning relevant, engaging and connected to community.

At each meeting, you'll:

  • Connect with educators from across the Mid-West region.
  • Discover STEM resources, programs and local opportunities.
  • Gain practical ideas you can adapt and implement in your classroom.
  • Explore ways to strengthen inquiry and project-based learning.
  • Join the Q.Ed Community to stay connected with educators across Western Australia.
